The Finnish Football Museum is located amid charming factory surroundings, on the third floor of the Myllysaari Museum. The museum has the same opening hours as the Myllysaari Museum, and the two museums can be accessed with the same ticket. With the same ticket you can also visit the Kauppilanmäki Open Air Museum, on the other side of the canal.
The Finnish Football Museum was founded by the Finnish Football Museum association, who still maintain it. This museum showcases a wide collection to do with football in Finland, spanning more than 100 years: prizes, commemorative gifts, medals, photographs, uniforms, and equipment – everything related to the game. The museum’s artefacts are displayed in Juuso Hall, the ‘changing room’ space, the exhibition room, and the library.
