Kinnalan Koukku is located in south-western Pirkanmaa, in Kiikka, Sastamala. This private museum on the Civil Guard organisation presents information about the wars that Finland has been involved in since it gained independence, and about Commander-in-Chief Carl Gustaf Mannerheim. National defence during times of war and peace in 1918–1945 is also on display. The exhibition presents Mannerheim, the Finnish Civil War, the Winter War and Continuation War, and the activities of the Civil Guard and Lotta Svärd organisations through photographs and insignia, as well as literature and other material. An event from 1943 comes to life in the staff room of the Kiikka Civil Guard. There are three Lottas in the room, performing different tasks, and a local commander, a local staff member, and a captain and a sergeant major.
Kinnalan Koukku also offers accommodation on a farm. Meals and coffee, as well as accommodation, can be reserved in advance from the old main building, in the same yard as the museum.
