In 1910–1986, the Kangasala Rest Home was a boarding house that became well-known as a place where many famous Finnish artists spent their holidays and worked. Now restored, the rest home displays its diverse and original objects, accompanied with interesting stories.
The rest home is not only a tourist destination; its premises are also hired out for functions and conferences. The sauna building has a spacious sauna, a room with a fireplace, and a kitchen. Catering is available by order.
If you feel like a rest, come and enjoy the rest home’s inimitable historical ambience!
