Home traditions and old artefacts in authentic surroundings. Tools, dishes, and other utensils used on a farm in Häme are on display in the yard of the Kinnari Home Museum and in its main building’s furnished rooms. These make clear how self-sufficient the way of life on farms used to be. On display are a collection of skis, 40 wooden shovels, and many other articles that were part and parcel of rural life. The farm has seven museum buildings, the oldest one dating from the 19th century.
The museum is in Kylmäkoski, seven kilometres from main road 9 and from the centre of Toijala. The art studio Kaukolan Koti-Ateljee is near the museum.
